Beneath Islam’s Dome of the Rock and boxed in by Herod’s mighty walls, Mount Moriah quietly bides its time.

This is the Mountain of the LORD; “the place of My throne“.  Despite united mankind’s furious opposition, He will yet set His King, the Son of David, on His Holy Hill in Zion.

If, as Christians, we want to correctly read and respond to today’s world-shaking events, it is from this place that we must view them – from the perspective of this Bedrock; not from the point of view of our Gentile nations.

This is, truly, the centre of the world.
