Europe, from the walls of Jerusalem – Thoughts

And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom their reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord. (Psalm 79:12)

Europe – as a conglomeration of nations – is in a mess and has only herself to blame. The direction she is moving in has long, long been her choice.

For centuries, the Continent (including Britain) abused and mistreated the Jews that came to live among them.

‘Christian’ Europe persecuted the Jews, forced them to assimilate, expelled them from country after country, ghettoised them and eventually tried to kill them all.

The remnant are beginning to leave in droves. Thousands are departing, and from the way those still in France and England and elsewhere are talking, many more will soon be gone. Meanwhile, millions of Muslim migrants are pouring into a Europe softened up by abandonment of individual national characters and cultures, and made defenseless by its championing of political correctness and multiculturalism.

The newcomers have already irreversibly changed the face of Europe and have exposed the fatal flaws on which the EU dream was built.

No – Europe didn’t want its Jews. Now Europe has to deal with its Muslims.

We’ve seen where this is going. The tragedy is already immense.

===================

Terror tore again into the heart of Europe on March 22 as bombers sent by the ‘Islamic State’ blew themselves up in Brussels, killing at least 31 and wounding more than 250.

The attack dealt a body blow to EU member states still reeling from the November 13, 2015 ISIS-perpetuated Paris massacre.

Associated Press reported – right after the Brussels’ bombings – that upwards of 400 Islamic State killers have entered Europe on the back of recent waves of migrants, and stand poised to unleash a bloody wave of killings across the Continent.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Birkat – who was being interviewed on CNBC TV as news about Brussels broke – was grilled about what Europe could possibly do to bring these acts to an end.

Go here to hear his advice which, tragically, Europe’s governments – ensnared as they are by political correctness and terrified of being seen as Islamophobic (the bitter irony after decades of endorsing Muslim migration into ageing European populations) – are simply unable to heed, even though it is the only counsel that could turn the table on terror.

Birkat’s answers:

– Develop international cooperation against terrorism, which the world can learn so much from Israel about how to fight.

– Identify and go hard after the funders and supporters that enable terrorism – beginning with Iran.

– Educate the younger generations in a way that will sever the chains of political correctness and enable them to clearly identify terrorism and its source.

When the enemy speaks, there are clear patterns of lying he resorts to (I have found that one of the easiest ways to identify what the Palestinian Arabs are up to, for instance, is to pay attention to the very things they accuse Israel of. Word for word, they paint their own guilt). He often embeds, in plain sight, a truth in his lies. He will invert truth to hide it, turning it right on its head in a frequently successful attempt to reinvent it.

With this in mind, consider the response of the spokesman for the Palestinian Authority’s security services, General Adnan Damiri, right after the attacks in Brussels.

His embedded truth (I’m sorry to say):

“Today,” he said, “Europe’s airports and squares are burning in their own fire…The one who prepares the poison will eventually taste it. Europe is now tasting what its hands made.”

His fragment of revisionist history, in which the identity of the Jew has been replaced by the Arab as the victim of persecution, and the Jew rather than the Muslim depicted as the ‘terrorist’:

“While we condemn acts of terror everywhere in the world, we the Arabs are the ones who have been burned worst in the fire of terror that was made and exported by Europe and America,” he wrote on Facebook, referring to “the exportation of Jewish terrorism to Palestine, which they supported and justified,” and suggesting that Islamist terrorism was a product of European colonialism.

What his twisted logic refuses to say is that the evil of Islam is igniting the fumes given off in once Judeo-Christian Europe not by its forays into colonialism, nor by its supposed support of Israel, but by the anti-Semitic moral rot which has been eating into it for centuries.

And this unspoken truth: that those who curse the seed of Abraham – all of them – will be accursed of God.

A message to Europe:

You have tried to force Israel to relinquish its ancestral lands.

Now you are losing your own national histories and are witnessing the rapid erosion of the cultures and societies established by your ancestors.

You have sought to coerce Israel into accepting Arab ‘refugees’ whose leaders are dedicated to the genocidal annihilation of Israel and whose children are raised to believe Israel’s destruction the will of Allah and the most noble of all goals.

Now you are being flooded with millions of Arab ‘refugees’ whose leaders are dedicated to the destruction of Judeo-Christian civilization and whose children are raised to believe that Europe’s (and America’s) fate is to be brought into the House of Islam through the acts of jihad waged by Allah’s most faithful mujahidin.

You have rejected the Jews in your midst who have enriched you immeasurably with untold contributions to academia, science, technology, culture and commerce.

Now you are being overrun with undereducated, unemployable, non-working Muslim ‘refugees’ who have internalized the tenet that the infidel (that’s you) works and hands over his earnings to the keepers of Islam. They are arriving in their millions with their overinflated sense of entitlement, to feed on your health and welfare systems, which are already buckling under the weight.

You are driving the effort to label products made in Israel’s ancestral lands to enable economic pressure to be brought on a little country of six million people so that economically you can bring Israel to her knees (like you did South Africa).

Now your economies are imploding and your great vision of a unified Europe is blowing up in your faces.

Israel’s economy, by contrast, is growing. Israel is growing stronger. Israel is led by a man not intimidated by the ‘most powerful man on earth’ and wide awake to the anti-Semitism that runs so deeply through the fabric of what was once the Christian world.

Your position is that Israel must make peace with those who carry out suicide attacks…

Let’s see you try to make peace with those who sent their bombers and shooters into your midst.

From Jerusalem, it looks chillingly as if Europe just might be about to get the full measure of what has been coming to it for a very long time.

As I wrote above, Europeans never knew how to treat their Jews. For centuries, instead of welcoming in their midst people from a nation who carry around in their very DNA the capacity to exceedingly bless the Gentiles among whom they dwell, the countries of Europe persecuted and mistreated the people of God.

Israel’s Jews are not vindictive. This nation has demonstrated its empathy and support for the victims of terrorism in the very countries where they have been persona non grata. Terrorists are treated in Israeli hospitals by Jewish doctors alongside the victims of their acts of terror. Avowed enemies of Israel have been brought into the Jewish state from Syria to receive free and high quality medical care. Untold numbers of Arab children from states at war with Israel have been brought into the country and given desperately needed heart and other organ transplants – free.

Israel’s generosity of spirit and largeness of heart is legendary everywhere except where the Israel-hating media focuses its attention.

So when the Psalmist Asaph calls on God to repay Israel’s enemies sevenfold what they have done and sought to do to the Jews and to Israel, it is not vindictiveness that drives him. His words are not laced with the bitterness of the vengeance seeker who cannot be quietened unless those who have killed are killed themselves.

Asaph’s primary concern is for God’s name.

The thing is that God has warned that He will indeed repay the nations many times over for what they have done to Israel.

I was a little angry with the people of Israel, He says in Zechariah 1:15, but the Gentiles went far beyond what God would have had them do in response, and their intent and purpose was evil.

The Lord is furious with the way they have scattered His people and divided up His land. (Joel 3)

He has a day of vengeance for the controversy of Zion. (Isaiah 34:8)

From Jerusalem’s walls it looks ominously as if that vengeance has begun to fall.

  1. Thank you Stan for informing us of the truth and for your obedience to the Almight God. Yes, may God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Many here in Australia come under a spirit of complacency “She’ll be right mate.” May what is occurring in the world convict peoples hearts to rise up and be bold in their christian walk , proclaiming The Word and support Israel.

  2. You have described the situation very well. Europe has put itself in the position Christ described in Matthew 18:7 “Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offenses come”. Here is something to keep in mind; the deteriorating condition of society has long been predicted as leading to Christ returning and establishing his kingdom here on earth. That is real hope for sure! Check out thisisyourbible.com God bless

  3. What more can I add to all the great comments, but I’ll try, YAHOVAH said that what the Nations do to ISRAEL that’s HE would do to them. And in my Nation America, there is a lot of people waking up, but more are asleep and don’t research out what is going on in the world, They believe what they are being told, by the media by their teachers and by their pastors, that is if they go to church. YAHOVAH BLESS ISRAEL and HIS PEOPLE all over the WORLD.

  4. Spot on Stan – absolutely spot on …. they will now have their own ” Palestinian Crisis ” to deal with – so ironic really

  5. I look forward to your posts because you don’t “sugar coat” your words but tell it like it is with clarity and godly wisdom!

  6. Thank you for this excellent article and the truth. As much as I love America, my homeland, I love Israel even more.

  7. Your words are full of truth and insight that ring so clear in a world so full of deception and twisted perceptions. Stunning piece. Thank you for your clarity and courage. May God bless you and your family and be your refuge. May He hide you under His wings. The time is now to speak. And you do it well.

  8. Well said Stan.
I live in Germany right now – after about 8 years with my family in the US – and it is quite disheartening to see what is coming to the people of Europe. But they ask for it.
I personally see this as a judgement and Islam is to be the tool.
We are being told we need those millions coming in since the population gets too old, yet we murdered over 10 million babies over the last 40 years, those numbers are only the official ones! [We are killing the blessing of God.]
We are being thought the sexual freedom of women which makes them to prostitute themselves without even charging money. Sex without end and guilt and kill the baby if an “accident” happens. [We make prostitutes.]
Homosexuality is being hailed as the new freedom it is even being taught in elementary schools and kindergarten, to show the little ones what kind of exciting perverted practices we have so far. [Homosexuality is an abomination to God and children are being put right in the middle of it, remember Sodom!]
And finally we are destroying Gods design by promoting Gender Ideology which I label as the new nazi eugenics, declaring Gods design of man and woman null and void.
Now, you are right in pointing out the claims Europe made on Israel on how to deal with terror and bend over time and time again. Give land for peace and so on.
It seems it is Europe’s turn now and when it is sevenfold than it is all over, the world is going to change very dramatically and I am looking for another place to be.

  9. Well said, Carole Kirton!!!

And may the whole tragic situation in “Europe” bring many to seek the Lord and His mercy!

  10. Well said Stan, I was cheering as I read every line. You are a
gifted journalist ,and it’s wonderful to see you using your talent
to speak on behalf of the Jewish people. I get so angry when I
see and hear the lies that the media publish about them.
May God Bless you and your family richly.

  11. Stan has spoken truth that many will not want to hear. There is a creator in Heaven who rules all things and has the final say. Judgment will come and there will be crying and gnashing of teeth but The Righteous Judge will have his say.

  12. You preach it brother!
God is just and He will punish those who mistreat Israel! The old saying ” What goes around comes around ” really is aplicable here…thank you for reminding us…

  13. Hi Stan,
A very short missive to say….Great article Stan. Very few folk…(even amongst Christians) have nailed the current event s of history as your have done here. It will be a pleasure to catch up with you when you arrive in our area of Lismore?Alstonville later this year, God willing.
God grant you safety in all your travels my friend. Yours faithfully Cobba Col Shalom

  14. From Jerusalem’s walls it looks ominously as if that vengeance has begun to fall…….and about good time!!

Thy will be done, Abba…Thy will be done!

  15. God’s Word never returns to him empty….. It always fulfills the purpose for which it was sent!

  16. Well said Brother. The harvest of years of antisemitism has arrived. May those in Europe who have a heart for God Move!
