Israel, what are you doing?

You pipe electricity to Gaza, drop leaflets over your intended targets to give your enemy time to escape and live to fight another day, put your own soldiers lives at risk rather than endanger the lives of Israel-hating Gazans.

You send medical and humanitarian aid through your crossings into Gaza (while Egypt keeps its Rafah Border Crossing tightly closed as it has for the past seven years – Egypt itself blockading the Strip even as it piously calls on Israel to lift its blockade and ‘siege.’) and you permit Palestinians wounded in Gaza to be brought to Ben Gurion International Airport and from there to be flown to the anti-Semitic, near-enemy state of Turkey for medical treatment.

You refrain from killing the men leading Hamas – those primarily responsible for the rocket rain of terror that has driven millions of your people to seek shelter in their reinforced rooms, and that has caused unknown numbers of Israelis to flee from the vicinity of the Gaza Strip.

For some unfathomable reason, Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Khaled Mashaal – the men directly responsible for the deaths of dozens of your soldiers – are still breathing, together with their top tier of terrorism directors and propagators; instead of leveling your weapons at their heads and taking them out, you level threats to kill them unless they do this or unless they do that.

You send official delegates to Cairo to hold negotiations with this organization whose goal mirrors that of the Nazis – and who would enthusiastically pursue that goal if only they had the wherewithal to perpetrate against Israel’s Jews what Germany did to Europe’s.

It is as if you are negotiating with Hitler! Do you really think there is any difference whatsoever?

I was led to believe that, when he trained militarily unskilled Jews in Palestine to fight, Charles Orde Wingate taught your first soldiers to combat your enemies for the sake of your existence, for the sake of your nation. His teachings purportedly formed the foundation of your subsequently created Israel Defense Forces – the IDF.

The name sounds nice but it should be the Israel Offensive Forces – you know that winning means taking the initiative…being an offensive force, albeit only insofar as you would take the battle all the way to those who declared war on you.

What you need to do (I don’t have to be an expert or be privy to inside intelligence to say this) is you need to accurately identify your enemy (as Islam’s mujahideen or holy warriors, not Arab nationalists), target this enemy in its Hamas form, and crush it without mercy.

You need to win this – and the only way to win it is to take from Hamas both the ability and the will to continue to fight.

Unless you do this – unless you take hold of the battle with both hands and fully engage your foe, you are sending your young men needlessly to their deaths, adding to the never ending pile of dead soldiers whose sacrifices will have to be repeated all over again by others who will die with the next round and in the next wave.

What are you criteria? What is your outlook? What are you hoping to achieve? Really? Just quiet for quiet?

It sounds good, but for you quiet means your citizens continue with their lives as uninterruptedly as possible, day in day out, month in month out, all the while waiting for the next volley of rockets to fall, or the next wave of terrorism to break upon them.

For Hamas and the larger Arab-Muslim world, quiet means it has the chance to renew its strength, equip and plan for the next round. And this while the Islamic State is expanding its territory and sowing tsunamis of terror through the Middle East, the number of its adherents exploding as it pulls in new members across Arab national borders. Day by day, month by month, the Middle East is becoming increasingly dangerous for Jews and for the Jewish state.

Israel, you are trying to fight Hamas like politicians, staging operations – weighing the cost and the risks and the possible international fall out – the threat of prosecution in international criminal courts, etc. tying your own hands with your own calculations.

What you need to do, for the sake of your nation, for the sake of Israel’s very existence down the road, is order all journalists out of Gaza, order all Gaza’s civilians to head south to Rafah and break through the Egyptian crossing, flooding into the Sinai.

You need to stop taking calls from the White House, the Kremlin, 10 Downing Street, the Palais de l’Élysée the Bundeskanzleramt and the Vatican.

Address your nation, tell the people of Israel you are neither continuing an operation, nor beginning a new one, against Hamas.

Tell them you are declaring war on Hamas to destroy them.

And set to it.

The sooner you do, the sooner you will secure your nation – the Jewish nation – in the homeland you have returned to to stay.

In light of the long and pain-filled history of the Jewish people, your people, this is your duty to them.

  1. My sentiments, below…I knew that Israel knew about the tunnels…it was just plain obvious!
So far about 70 Israeli soldiers have died blowing up Hamas terror tunnels leading into Israel’s territory. Intelligence Colonel Yossi Langotsky told the IBA (Israel Broadcast Authority) the young men had died in vain. Minister Uzi Landau asked, what have we achieved and his reply was NOTHING! Israel had the sonar echolocation technology long ago to handle the danger: “For nine years I raised Hell and said terrorists are digging tunnels into Israeli territory but the state security system is not organized with enough seriousness to deal with the threat…” They are still not serious to deal with ALL of Hamas threat, killing our children in vain. Had Israel done what this article suggest, she would have been in the same condemnation situation as she is not after the unsuccessful surgery in Gaza. Israel must learn she is in a constant situation of damn if I do and damn if I do not so the hell with the world, Israel’ DO WHAT you need to do to safeguard your existence!

  2. The pure way Israel’s IDF is acting, is not yet understood by all who are not capable of Eevreet/Hebrew thinking and our Moral Justice on Historical basis of Facts + Truth. Based on our Torauh תורה we have always made sure we can live with our actions which are blessed and are right by Alohim for the world and life created as dearest of all. Yes, we put our dearest children at risk and pay economically dearly for mending wrongs other do that yet others permits (See European Nations as well as many others now dealing with Islam’s “SICK CULTURE” based on its twisted adoption with hate of our original Blessed Good GOD Culture.) mostly because of so called modern “Beautiful Soles” which are in fact sick-soles not able nor willing to take responsibility and actions as we do here in Israel, against the vow to help our creator in delivering the “Better Becoming World” wrongly translated as “The Next World”. There is no such next world, and we Hebrews know our original vow to work for the better becoming world, and we keep trying to fix it in democratic actions within our country, against our own citizens who take the global wrongs and make it our own = which makes it so difficult for us to lead the world towards the Messianic Days Hope and Vow to mend the wrongs since the son of haAdam-haRishon killed his brother, for envy.

  3. Stan, I have been saying it all along, this article expressing it for me: “What you need to do, for the sake of your nation, for the sake of Israel’s very existence down the road, is order all journalists out of Gaza, order all Gaza’s civilians to head south to Rafah and break through the Egyptian crossing, flooding into the Sinai.” Then destroy Gaza and make it Jewish.

  4. This is what the world needs to read, and understand that this is a war of good and evil, and Ya’HOVAH said to get the evil out of the land that they would be thorn’s in your sides and nails in your eyes. and this is just what is happening. i agree with all the comments, but one because when Ya’SHUA was about to return to Heaven HE told HIS disciples to take money and a sword with them where they went because they would need it. I look forward to your writings

  5. Hi Christine, – While I wholeheartedly applaud Israel for the enormous value she places on human life, including the lives of those who hate her – no other army in the world fights those sworn to the destruction of their nation with the degree of care and concern for the civilians on the iter side shown by Israel – I do not believe Jesus’ teachings to His followers – i.e. His disciples – were teachings to governments and nations as national entities. Nor do I read in the New testament that a Christian who takes up a gun as a soldier in his nation and kills men in war, especially if the enemy is manifestly evil (like the Nazis or Hamas) – is going against the teachings of Jesus. I also see very clearly in the Bible that God is going to use Israel to decimate its enemies in war, and that when He does Israel will show the enemy no quarter. God is God – He is as He was and as He always will be. He gives authority to national rulers to use weapons of war, and nowhere does He command His people to lie down and allow their enemies to kill them. In the past He has commanded them to wipe out whole nations, and He may well command them to do so again. Israel certainly has God’s blessing to deal with the Islamic forces opposed to the existence of the Jewish state and the return of the Jews to the land God gave them. They are acting violently in direct opposition to what He is doing.

  6. Hi Stan. I don’t think I can agree with you on this one. I think Israel’s actions are right and in line with Jesus’ teaching. We all know Hamas is a wicked organisation that shamelessly uses the civilian population to hide behind without any care for their lives or safety. In contrast whilst IDF is quite rightly trying to destroy the ability to send rockets into Israel and the tunnels, unlike Hamas they are trying to protect the civilian population even those who are no doubt complicit in the aggression.
Whilst Hamas and IS must be overcome on the ground we must also pray for the overthrow of spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly realms for this is where the real struggle is. Jesus said to love our enemies and do good to those who persecute you. To overcome evil with good.
I applaud Israel’s humanitarian actions which shows a compassion completely lacking in all the Islamic forces .
Also I have no way of verifying this but on the BBC news at the start of this ceasefire the reporter was standing in front of the Rafa gate into Egypt (so he said) and the southern gate into Israel both of which were open with lorries passing through into Gaza.

  7. Way to go Stan, but the people who should be reading this and listening to what you are saying going to do so…for some reason they do not want anyone to tell them what they are doing wrong…you have said it so right…I too have wondered why Israel is holding back so…the media of course is all Garza and Hamas…and I can’t stand to hear the media go on and on about being shot at so to speak.. they are the one who start all this…now I know I am rattling on so best close…stay safe Stan, you and your family…and keep us posted..just maybe some of Israel leaders will get the drift….

  8. Right on Stan! Do it Bibi and do it now without approval from any man especially those in the UN who condemn Israel while turning a blind eye to much more egregious slaughter and mayhem in Nigeria, Turkey, Syria, Mali, Iraq, Pakistan, Ukraine etc etc. Pogroms are flaring up against Jews across Europe anyway and disproportionate “Israel bashing “re the Gaza Conflict is happening in public on streets even in the remotest corners of my Canada. So you’re not risking any worse world-wide re-action/s eand perhaps you’ll gain their respect for doing it with all out effort. Few of us have any quarrel with Palestinians except we know that hatred to Jews is inbred into their youngsters who can then conveniently offer the cowards in the tunnels a cadre of human shields. So this will go on for another generation at least, as the Hamas Charter makes no provision for a two-state solution. Do it now! Don’t check to see if you’re upsetting Obama, Kerry, Kissinger, Putin, Sisi, Cameron, Hollande the IMF or the EU. Erase permanently the cowardly Hamas leadership in Qatar. I’ve just re-read Abba Eban’s “Personal Witness” and noted again his 1967 speech to the UN. coming to the sad conclusion that absolutely nothing has changed in the intervening 47 years! He would be horrified at what temerity the IDF actually fights in an offensive manner and how Israel seeks to placate those who side with Hamas. Abba Eban was absolutely brilliant but he still gave precious little credit to Jehovah GOD alone,…. Who was behind all the amazing victories in his time. This is a wake-up call for Israel to prostrate themselves only before the One GOD who guarantees victory to the truly repentant.

Thanks Stan. This is one Christian who prays constantly for Israel.

  9. Yes, one understands that feeling of frustration every time there’s another ostensible “ceasefire”. Because we know what it gets used for. And while we pray that Israel would call out to her God, let’s remember that as Believers in Yeshua, we too need to continue to call out to Him, that He would come and deliver His ancient people from their enemies. He has commanded us to do so.

  10. Amein!! Flush out the infiltration of New World Order influence, Kissinger & Co, Obama & Kerry, and Stand for Israel only!! Israel will survive when the leadership of Israel stands for Israel and Israel’s God, Who is showing Himself at times on behalf of Israel, and Israelis are beginning to recognize Him again. For Israel to depend on anyone other than the God of the Bible is to insult God and be defeated. God is waiting to help Israel – when Israels leaders turn the nation back to Him. No one is a genuine friend of Israel except God and His people, Jews and Gentiles………………….

  11. You certainly did hit the nail on the head, Stan. I think Israel worries too much as to how the rest of the world views them, including the UN and USA. In their attempt to appease the nations they are putting their own nation at risk. Israel needs to stand strong and do exactly as you have said, Stan. Their attempt with trying to please the world will not work, as this world hates Israel no matter what they do! Pathetically sad and disgusting, I know! But it’s the truth! So they may as well do whatever must be done for their very survival and
forget about what the world thinks or says!

Israel has God on their side! It doesn’t matter what the UN or USA or any other nation has to say about anything they do! Their priority should be protecting Israel and their own!

War is heartbreaking, indeed. Children dying is a tragedy. But in all reality, if it isn’t Palestinian children, it WILL BE, Israeli children, IF Israel doesn’t eradicate Hamas!

Continue to pray for Israel, and PM Netanyahu, to stand boldly against the WH, the UN, the Kremlin, etc! To not negotiate with those that hate them! It’s insane!

  12. For Gaza will be abandoned. … Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines; and I will destroy you so that there will be no inhabitant. So the seacoast will be pastures, with caves for shepherds and folds for flocks. And the coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah, they will pasture on it. In the houses of Ashkelon they will lie down at evening; For the LORD their God will care for them and restore their fortune. (Zephaniah 2:4-7)

  13. Stan,

True. Hard, but true (as truth is so often). It may be only a consequence of linguistics, but it is nevertheless interesting that “Hamas” and “Haman” are so similar in so many ways. The modern day “Hamanities” take their inspiration from the same ancient evil source. Is it too hard a truth to suggest that like Haman of old, the only way they will be prevented from seeking the annihilation of the Jews is to meet his fate?

  14. Spot on as always Stan. This is the chance, and I suspect they will rue the day they do not act against these terrorist murderers if they do not finish the job. The international communities response to Israel is ‘damned if you do, and damned if you don’t’. Better to have REAL peace, than the type that gives the terrorists time to re-arm and do it all again. Soldiers have sacrificed their lives for the nation of Israel to not just survive, but thrive – they deserve a resounding win, not what exists at the moment.

  15. Augustine [354-430 AD].
” War & conquest are a sad necessity in the eyes of men of principle, yet it would be still more unfortunate if wrong doers should dominate just men.”
When evil men attack the innocent, a forceful Christian response may not only protect the innocent from an aggressor, but by restraining the aggressor, may indeed protect the aggressor from himself.

Hamas & others like them will never honor any peace deal, Jesus describes them well as He does their god the devil in John 10:10 he only comes to steal, kill & destroy!!!
    That’s them & ISIS.
    Get in & eliminate them.

  16. Stan, thank you so much for speaking the truth so boldly and clearly. I continue to fervently pray that Israel will defeat this enemy! Each time I hear of another cease fire I am sickened, frustrated, confused and angry. Israel, what are you doing indeed? The LORD is the Shield of Abraham, not the UN or the EU of the USA or any other nation. Israel is repeating the mistakes of its past. I keep praying that Bibi would call on the nation to fall on its face before the LORD in repentance, prayer and fasting, and that Israel would return to Torah and the LORD’s Messiah. Thank you! Amen!

  17. Susan. You say “America is too busy playing politics.” OK that too: but where is your all-powerful POTUS? Playing golf at Martha’s Vineyard swish resort – with not a care in the world.
Mark THE WORD. “God is Sovereign and He will act at exactly the prophesied time and in His own way. Then the enemy of both God and Israel will be no more.” The countdown has begun. Keep short accounts with the ALMIGHTY.

  18. This has been the lament of Israel for a long time. Historically liberal thinking has kept Israel staring down a gun barrell. When Bibi Netanyahu became their leader, it took a re-election to finally get them moving in the direction of the Lord’s will. Although it is a long process, the change is slowly coming. However, as the metamorphosis continues, the world is, more and more, standing against Israel. The growing anti-semitism is a sign of the times we live in. Hatred, murder, and death are synonymous with Amalek; and until the commission of Saul is complete, the times of sorrow surround us. YHWH bless Israel, Jerusalem, and her people.

  19. Stan….. You have once again hit the nail exactly where it should be hit! Oh, that Bibi would close his ears, eyes and mind to all outside chatter, and do what he knows needs to be done!!….. to protect His people and the Land with which YHWH has entrusted unto him. Believers everywhere are praying for G-d’s will to be accomplished at this time. His plan is for Israel to be planted and uprooted no more!! \o/

  20. Israel what are you doing? You are acting more like the Samaritans – the “Good Samaritan” that is- than the Tribe of Levi.
More seriously, Stan, we are praying for your Son as it must be horrendous to have to face an enemy who uses children as a shield. We also pray for those in America who have no mercy for the suffering of Israel. God protect you and your family.

  21. Scripture says to seek peace and pursue it, however, when these blood thirsty brute beast are beheading five year olds, then anything less than all out war is in reality appeasing, enabling, and in the long run empowering them to run amuck in their unholy delusions, that will come back to wreak even worse deadly consequences on all those who continue to allow this evil to continue and not call it what it is. The world is acting like a woman in a very abusive relationship. She will continue to take it, until she makes up her mind not to. Unfortunately, many women stay and many die after years and years of horrible abuse. These poor women even feel the abuse is their own fault, like Israel does. Israel, put on your strength, God will help you, even if
the world turns against you. The Word of Your God declares it, and its been around a lot longer than all the nations you think you need to appease, please, or bow down to. In fact, the nation that will not serve you will perish according to you God. Now do what your God tells you to do, and if you do t know what that is, read your book.

  22. This is GREAT……wish they would do it. This is exactly what we in the US wish our gov’t would do….ha…..that isn’t going to happen…..too busy playing politics.

  23. Oh, AMEN! But who is listening to the voice of reason? Soooo frustrating!! Sooo very frustrating! I keep praying God will intervene! ✡ ✡ ✡

  24. Isaiah 2:3″And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”
I agree 100% with Benjamin Netanyahu” Support Israel, support yourself” the god of the Hamas is satan and he is out to kill steal and destroy. The only action that can destroy satan is Father God, and at the appointed time this will be accomplished, Everything that happens to us in this life is meant to make us stronger in our faith toward Father God and His plan of an eternal righteous world, with Israel as the head of all nations. The word of God is very clear on this subject, when Israel finally calls out…..
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”. (Psalm 118:26 Matthew 23:39 the Lord will come quickly, Revelation 22:20) When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem Psalm 122:6 we are praying for this to take place.

    Genesis 12:3Zechariah13:6Jeremiah 33:9 Daniel12:10

Hosea 14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

    14:9 Daniel 12:10
