Israel’s enemy is my enemy

The Enemy has taken the gloves off.

Or – in another way of looking at it – he isn’t so concerned with covering up his actions in order to deceive any more.

This past two weeks – more than ever – his hatred for Israel, for the people of his arch-foe – the God of Israel – has been violently exposed for all to see, in the overflow of Jew-hatred that is streaming like sewage through the streets of cities from London to Melbourne to New York.

My gloves are off too. They have been for some years. For, to me, the uncompromising side I as a Christian am to take in this war has long been apparent.

Still, this will be much more clearly seen from now on.

As I view it, the line I thought God drew in the sand years ago – as He began to lift up a banner in the centre of the Earth (Isaiah 11:2) – Israel, restored for all the world to see, and as He began to challenge Christians with regard to which side we stand on: I understand now that that line is set in stone.

Time to decide, Christians, followers of the Messiah, the King of the Jews. Time to stop vacillating, to stop trying to accommodate the world; to stop allowing ourselves to be seduced into supporting a “peace” that in fact is predicated on the destruction of Israel.

Who is on the LORD’s side?

We are. Those of us who will stand with His people, back in their Land. Those of us who will stand with Israel even if it means standing in opposition to our own nations.

It’s actually straightforward and completely logical:

Israel’s God is my God.

Ergo – Israel’s Enemy is my Enemy.
